lol I hear ya.

quick question. why is ya'lls shift knob so damn high?! Ive also seen that on the FN2. My stock shift knob height was shorter than that and I put a short shift on it cause I thought it was to high lol

Actually judging from the pictures the height seems to be the same. Having said that the higher the shift knob the closer it is to the steering wheel the less time you have to take your hand from it. The better you control the car with two hands. That's why all the racing cars if manual transmission the shift knob is very close to the steering wheel (i.e. sequential gearboxes). Even in the dual clutch transmission you can see that the paddles are behind the steering wheel.

Another reason for the lack of modded FD2s: the car is so effing brilliant out of the box there really isn't much owners want to change. You’d need to have Simon’s level of dedication to make it truly worthwhile, or charge it

Actually there are a few things that you can change but all depends what you want to achieve. There are a few of us that look on different mods and we have done some of them. Watch the different topics and you will see.

I'll take a few pics of the shift knob 2morro and ill copy the pics of the shift knobs if I can find them, I saw some ridiculously high lol. maybe its a US thing cause everyone usually tries to make theres as short as possible yet also be able to change gears smoothly.

I guess its: the higher= the safest, less effort

the shorter= the fastest, shorter box not really an H style shift if you get what Im saying. My gears are all angled down like this

1 3 5
l / l /l \
2 4 6 R
haha sorry for shitty diagram

Well, I changed my brakes because I wanted better track performance. Hardly bad to begin with though. Not like my FN2 where the list of things I wanted to change meant I was better off getting a new car!

Looking forward to seeing this when you start to mod it:) use over in the states are sick when it comes to tuning honda's.

Parts are expensive just because of the distance and having to order small quantity at a time so I dont think many companys get big discounts on there orders or large margin of profit so there expensive. Also the markets no where near as big as over in the states.
