Hi mate,

yeah - we're in Dundonald, just next to Troon.

Apologies for the delay with this exhaust system - all now ready and fitted on my own FD2 for testing!

I fitted the decat first to see what difference it made with the standard exhaust system - managed to resolve the engine management light problem too using a stainless O2 sensor spacer! Made a noticeable power increase, and a slight increase in exhaust sound! The factory cat in the FD2 is actually already really free-flowing, so I don't think there's any point in offering high-flow sports cats at this stage, so we'll be concentrating on decats!

Then we built the top-spec 2.5" fully mandrel-bent system (Option 3 which I mentioned earlier) and opted for a 4" straight-cut burnt titanium tip as it filled the space nicely!
We built the system to be as free-flowing as possible, so bore is a full 2.5" throughout - including inside the silencers where many companies choke the flow. We built the system to give a mid-sports sound which is not too boomy for motorway driving, but AWESOME in vtec! Will post up some sound clips soon, just waiting for the system to burn-through and bed-in as that's when the sound stabilises.

Enjoy 8)

The standard backbox is really not designed for wet climates - my car is only ever stored inside, yet the backbox was full of water, which would cause it to rust from the inside outwards!!

We are now ready to offer these systems and decats on a mail order basis, or can offer FREE fitting for customers a little closer to home!

Local FD2 owners are also more than welcome to pay us a visit and test-drive my own car to see the difference our exhaust/decat combo makes!

Kind regards,

Faz.

£100 fitted for the straight-through decat, including the O2 sensor spacer.

We can also make the decat resonated if you don't want any extra noise (£120 all-in).

Cheers,

Faz.
